Warning – Real Time Global Air Quality Display

This project addresses a survey about digital art in public space, focusing on the information visualization concept through physical interface and resulted in the conception and development of experimental project ‘Warning – Real Time Global Air Quality Display’. The ‘Warning’ project is an installation developed with free software that receives data from the internet with air quality from 30 cities on 5 continents. The installation presents these data dynamically on a screen and its physical structure, which uses Arduino as a platform and is located in a public area. The indexes are represented by LEDs that interact according to the submitted conditions. More information (only in portuguese):
