I am an interaction designer based in Recife. I am currently an Assistant Professor at Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Paraíba (IFPB) and a PhD Candidate in Computer Science at Universidade Federal de Pernambuco.

Also I am Founder at BRU! Interaction Design, a non-profit association that encourages the practice of interaction design in northeastern of Brazil since 2011. In 2013 I was a curator of Interaction South America – Recife, one of the most important event of Interaction Design in this year with 14 amazing speakers: Bill Buxton, Louis Rosenfeld, Jared Spool, Josh Seiden, Marc Stickdorn, Arne Van Oosterom, Dana Chisnell, Catarina Mota, Pedro Miguel Cruz, Dave Malouf, Santiago Bustelo, Sara Cordoba, Guto Requena and Luciano Meira.

Since 2012 I am a Curator of Data Visualization at Campus Party Brasil and Campus Party Recife. Between 2013 and 2015 I was a researcher of a project titled “Innovation and Sustainability in Waste Management: Perspectives on Implementation of National Policy on Solid Waste in the Metropolitan Region of Recife” from Fundação Joaquim Nabuco (FUNDAJ) and Massachusett Institute of Technology (MIT) funded by FACEPE.
